Was Mary without sin while Jesus was in her womb?
What we have to understand is there is only one perfect person – Jesus Christ.
Scripture says “All men have sinned and fallen short of the glory of God” (Romans 3:23). So to exempt Mary would then be exalting Mary with Jesus, which is what we see in the Catholic Church. Many people want to pray to Mary but she is still only human like everyone else. The only one that is supreme and sinless is Jesus himself.
